Following up the hugely successful 'Mana's Multiply/Bigger Than Jamrock' double sider of last year was always going to be tough, but we think London's mysterious NICE UP! crew have done it! First up, the larger than large 'Old School', which takes the vocals of a recent UK hip hop smash and pushes it one step further than the familiar break of the original by lacing it with a selection of proper old school beats. Just watch the reaction when it drops - it's like a who's who of classic hip hop! Over on the flip, 'The Virgo' sees a dream team of hip hop MCs giving their tribute to the once great trick-shot king by getting busy atop a classic calypso riddim, this time from Tommy McCook and The Supersonics by means of a certain UK pop starlet. Already huge with Annie Mac, A Skills, Ali B and The Cuban Brothers, NICE UP! deliver a late contender for mash up of the year!

A real powerhouse of a mash for a busy dancefloor! - J Star

Constructed to cause maximum dancefloor reaction. Oh so funky and brilliant! - Jelly Jazz

Heavy! - Quantic

Takes the bloody roof off! Believe me my friends it’s worth every penny. Golden dance floor filling delights on both sides.. - Boca 45

A contender for party record of the year. The sort of record that will rock any party. Nothing less than incendiary. Trust me, this rocks - big time! 5/5 - Matt Anniss I-DJ magazine
