Quadrangle / Niagara

A 2 track balearic / downtempo single (7m 2s) — released July 1st 2016 on Night Sweats Music

Hot on the heels of the debut "Syreeta/Boutique" Hazards of Prophecy (Dave Rendle) returns with two experimental pieces of music. The sonically and rhythmically chaotic "Quadrangle" is a one-take wonder played live on an iPhone, using a truly fun and innovative app, it captures a moment of raw inspiration and says everything it needs to in under two minutes. The second jam is appropriately named "Niagara", it was created as a response to a very disruptive home flooding incident - created using the only studio gear left that wasn't damaged or in storage - it's a dreamy affair, drenched in the need to escape the long and frustrating drying out period.

The mind behind System Status and The Detroit Urban Gardening Ensemble, Dave's music on Untracked, Out Here Audio, Horn Wax and Stupid Human has caught the attention of global tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson, Phil Asher, Ashley Beedle, Alex Nut and Ross Allen as well as receiving the remix treatment from Inkswel.

Written, Recorded, Produced & Mixed by Dave Rendle.
