Both tracks highlight the talent that earned Aloe Blacc worldwide acclaim by everyone from Gilles Peterson to Spin Magazine. For the A-Sided party banger, Aloe Blacc confidently flips verses over Kero One's neck snapping production and moog playing. Add a sing-songy chorus and folks worldwide have a new party anthem to cut loose to. The second track "Friends" is an excellent display of Aloe's singing prowess. Over a bouncing and up-tempo soundtrack by King Most, Aloe belts out one of his finer performances yet singing about growing up as a youngster in sunny California.
