Pathic is the co-founder of London based electro label Pyramid Transmissions - 'one of the most on form electro labels', according to DJ magazine. As well as releasing music on Pyramid, his work has also been released on Ai Records and Minimalsoul. This EP sees Pathic contribute 2 mixes - The summery sounding original and the melancholic, 808 heavy, Dark Matter mix. Joining him on the remix tip is ADJ (Touchin' Bass/ Cultivated Electronics) with an abstract dubby rework. Phase Mojo pushes the experiment into breakbeat territory, with his string-laden remix. Lone Shark puts his own spacey stamp on the track and mashing up proceedings there's a downright filthy remix by The Wee DJs (SCSI AV/ Touchin' Bass/ Spacebar Sentiments). Finally, Phil Bolland and Matt Whitehead, aka Signal Type, come through with a techy 4/4 remix, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Airplay so far has come from Nick Luscombe (NME Radio) and Radio 1's Rob Da Bank who had this to say about the Dark Matter mix - "I can imagine this at Glastonbury at three in the morning…pumping out…Heavy shizzle"
