TwoFourteen (real name Chris Roman) is a Seattle based DJ and producer. Having already featured on Ai Records, Digital Distortions and Mikrolux, this is his first full release on Pyramid Transmissions. Of Puerto Rican descent, Chris grew up in Miami and over time absorbed the booty-shaking alien electro served up by the likes of fellow Floridians Soul Oddity, and artists from the other side of the pond such as Carl Finlow, Scape One, Monolake and 2 Lone Swordsmen. Taking these acts as a benchmark, this EP forms a solid collection of forward thinking underground electro. Sometimes abstract, sometimes wonky, yet always retaining an element of funk indicative of Chris' Latin roots - The musical backdrop to a lapdance in the side room of a space ship.
