After the turning heads with the release of the Mediocre/ LA Contradiction EP, Voice steps up her game on her next single Know Rhythm/Guerilla Hustlin... Voice has been one busy women lately, her razor sharp flow is featured on the new Visioneers LP Produced by Marc Mac: 4hero (BBE Records). She'll also be featured on new Zero DB LP (Ninja Tune) due out this spring. On this EP, Voice displays her lyrical versatility rocking her impeccable flow over up-tempo beats produced by Alister Johnson (aka Catalist) and Moonstarr. Already getting love from Nujazz and Hip Hop Heads, this EP is for fans of good music period, ready to tear up dance floors across the globe!! On the 'Know Rhythm/Guerilla Hustlin?' EP, Voice uses her innovative style and delivery to rhyme over fluctuating time signatures and up-tempo beats. Not an easy feat for any emcee, but Voice's effortless delivery meld perfectly with the infectious beats of Moonstarr on Guerilla Hustlin? that will be ready to bring any party some serious HEAT!! On Know Rhythm, Alister Johnson takes the listener on a journey, from hip hop to nu jazz and all points in between, Voice's conscious words are mixed in to induce emotions guaranteed to get your headnodding and body shaking. Flip for the Moonstarr's produced 'Guerrilla Hustlin', an equally good track, but more semi-uptempo all the way through. Voice steps up the pace abit from track one, and Moonstarr gives us his usual beats to bring the house down!! This uptempo jem is most definitely going to have dance floors burning in '06, with Moonstarr's infectious The DJ Catalist produced 'Know Rhythm' starts of with slow jazzy beats, heavy double bass and lush keys, but picks up the pace in fine Jazzanova style, making it an uptempo killer of a track. Voice lays down her spokenword/rap on top to great results.'
