I was born and grew up in Donetsk, the industrial heartland of Ukraine, in a family of professional musicians. I started to play piano and compose music at 5 years of age, and at 12 I did my first serious studio work. Inevitably, I studied in music school, then music college, and as a logical continuation, Donetsk State Music Academy (in the name of S.S. Prokofiev). I graduated in 2004, and obtained both a bachelor’s degree cum laude and a master’s degree in music (major- Jazz Piano, music arts).
After university I worked in Ukrainian and Russian music studios, and composed and produced music for music shows, television programs, and cartoons.
In order to advance my knowledge and improve my skills, I moved to Los Angeles, California, where enrolled at SAE Institute of Technology. In 2008 I successfully finished SAE Institute and obtained a diploma in sound engineering. Currently I'm part of international ALUMNI Network and work with American, Russian and Ukrainian producers.
However busy my work schedule is, I always try to find time to play the piano, as Jazz is an integral part of my life. I'm grateful that fate allowed me to meet jazz legend Dini Clarke. On several occasions, I had the opportunity to play and work with him in studios in Los Angeles area.
Other artists with whom I have worked include Columbian/American Latin Grammy nominated singer Inés Gaviria, Playboy model Yvette Lopez, R&B/Soul singer Major James, country bands "Mitchells Folly" and “The Broken Numbers Bandâ€. I have also done remixes for "Linkin Park".
It was significant to me to meet with internationally renowned sound engineer Eddie Kramer, Hollywood composer/producer Andrew Lane, and composer Mario Marchetti.
In Moscow I worked with Russian producer Iosif Prygogyn and his label “Nox Musicâ€.
Currently, I am working with several prominent Ukrainian pop artists.
