London-based Japanese producer Kay Suzuki's 2nd EP from the album CONSCIOUSNESS. Altered State EP has two original tracks of London-style soul music, featuring the fresh talents of various dance music remixers to create ALTERED STATES of CONSCIOUSNESS. Step Into My Life sees a start-studded cast of musical talent - Duchy on vocals, Ben Hadwen on Flute, Jessica Lauren on Fender Rhodes and Simbad on synthesizer. A soulful fusion remix with funky baselines is produced by Boston-based, Japanese musician U-Key, a Berkley scholar who has played with legends such as George Duke and De La Soul, and Tokyo-based producer Kez YM, the first Japanese producer to attend the Red Bull Music Academy (2007) with EPs released by 4lux and Yore. Another remix is produced by Derby-based Christo, whose minimal deep house remix and dub will make dancers throw serious shapes on the dance floor. Life Is Like A Spiral features Christophe Richards, former member of legendary band The Drifters (American R&B vocal group formed in 1950s and still going strong) and Kay Suzuki's long time musical partner Ben Hadwen on Flute and Baritone Sax. Remixes are by Kez YM's with his Detroit house stamp, and by fresh Tokyo talent Ryo Kawahara’s classic broken beats rework.
