Following on from her smashing tunes "2 Kinds Of Men" and "Summer's Gone" released in 2013 on Record Kicks, "I'm Not Your Regular Woman" is their new single from the much awaited upcoming debut LP "Stop, Look, Listen" that will hit the streets at the beginning of February 2016. "I'm Not Your Regular Woman" is a floorshaking cover up version of Lucille Mathis' sister funk classic and serves as a good introduction of what you'll have to expect from the debut full length: 60s pure dynamite sound! The flip, "Be Ma Fela" showcases an afro instrumental stormer by her powerful Groovelvets that the Black President himself would be proud of. The final result makes it a party starter 45 essential for all djs and funk & soul lovers.

2013 Marta Ren & the Groovelvets' appearance on Record Kicks has made a great impression on the funk scene, thanks also to the support of DJs such as Craig Charles Dj Andy Smith and Dj Format. Marta is not a newcomer as she has been around in the Portuguese scene since the mid 90s lending her deep and powerful voice amongst the others to break-beat outfit The Bombazines, recording two albums and establishing her unique talent at clubs and festivals all around Portugal.
