You have to give respect to Soul Fire Records for coming out with some amazing music. This time they've managed to bring back The Herb Johnson Settlement for a nice uptempo dance track. There isn't much to go on in terms of vocals, but sometimes the best songs are those that keep things to a minimum. The real reason to buy this record is to hear the sexy instrumental appropriately subtitled as an 'afrodisiac'. If you're a DJ who wants to play this in your late night sets, blend the vocal side with the instrumental and watch the steam rise. The guitar is brought up more in the mix, and at the end you get to hear some of the main meals of the day, including 'fried chicken'. Mmm mmm, you know what they're talking about. It's a scorcher indeed.'
