'Mind Out!' is the impressive debut release of Staffordshire's Craig Champion aka Progress Centre. Craig began creating music whilst studying Music Technology at a local college. He developed techniques such as circuit bending, a skill which he incorporated into his music. Craig began performing his electronic shows around the Stafford area in pubs that are usually host to those typically generic rock bands you usually associate with small town venues which was very refreshing. He received a mighty response from his shows and developed a local following which included the DJ's of BBC Radio Stoke's underground music show 'Subculture'. Mind Out! is a beautifully accopmlished effort, incorporating guitars, circuit bent machinery, beats and heavily processed sounds resulting in a beautifully accomplished and wonderfully inpsired effort. Progress Centre's music will appeal to fans of electronic music old and new, as well as fans of Plaid, Exhaust and Daedelus, although it's important to approach his music with neutral expectations.
