Spencer Gray is the nom de plum ascribed to the recording collaborations between New York-based Producer and DJ Marc-Alan Gray and Loveslap! founder Charles Spencer. Previous singles from the duo include "Pillow Talk", which featured on Defected Evissa 2007 compilation and "Coming Over" which released on Jay Hannan's Society Heights imprint. "Dreaming in Color", their debut album is set to release in February of 2009. "Precious" is the second single from "Dreaming in Color" "Precious" features vocals from Imani Uzuri. Recently featured as TRACE Magazine's 'Beautiful', ecletic, bohemian Uzuri is one who defies category. Imani's recordings collaborations include Herbie Hancock, John Legend, 4-Hero, Talib Kweli, Sly and Robbie, Bill Laswell and King Britt.
