Myone, Myth and Symbolyc One (S1) are Strange Fruit Project. Three emcees who continue to set trends as not your typical Southern hip-hop group, all hail from Waco, Texas. Each member of Strange Fruit Project sings, raps and is influenced by the constant journey of everyday life. The group has made a huge impact in a short period of time. Lyrical, creative and innovative all describe the music of SFP. 2005 included the release of producer/emcee Symbolyc One's BBE collaboration 'The Art of Onemind', with fellow producer Illmind. The first single was from SFP, The Broke Song, with message relative to everyone. This single reached the top 10 of such CMJ charts as rapattacklives.com and rapnetwork.com 2006 now brings in 'Up Jump Da Boogie'. This is the first song from this new Strange Fruit Project record. This is a fun, feel-good song that takes you back to the foundation of hip-hop. Produced by S1, this song will turn heads and create buzz about the group's lyrical messages and strong influence. Also included on this record is 'Makin' My Way', produced by Australian based M-Phazes. This is the diamond in the rough of this record, focusing on the search and understanding of what life represents, in your own way, at your own pace. 'Bubble Up' is the final song from this record. The term represents the rise of Strange Fruit Project as people, emcees and artists on the daily grind. S1's upbeat change of pace provides listeners with a different sound that automatically diversifies SFP's style and flow, not limiting the group to one type of sound or tempo. As the first single of 2006 for SFP, 'Up Jump Da Boogie' will continue to generate dialogue amongst the grass roots hip-hop heads and music industry leaders alike. Be on the lookout for Strange Fruit Project's forthcoming album, The Healing, scheduled for release during the summer of 2006.'
