Sound Of Speed Circles Vol 2

A 3 track leftfield/idm ep (20m 30s) — released March 15th 2010 on Sound Of Speed

This is the second 3 track vinyl sampler to the forthcoming Sound Of Speed Circles CD. And yet again, the up and coming Sound Of Speed label have pulled 3 excellent tracks out the hat! First up Tom Szirtes aka Shur-I-kan sticks to his signature deep house sound, keeping things musical with an afro vibe. Tom's acclaimed productions are in heavy demand having remixed the likes of Akabu, Trackheadz, Miguel Migs, Fred Everything and Motorcity Soul amongst others with releases on top labels such as Simple, NRK, Urban Torque, Physical Graffiti and Winding Road. Alucidnation takes things even deeper on "16 Below". Bruce Bickerton, the one-man powerhouse behind Alucidnation (responsible for all the acts music, photography, design and website) is well known for his collaborations and productions for the Big Chill and has featured on countless compilations. Finally Cushty (aka Nick Cohen of The Bays) teams up with Kuniyuki Takahashi to produce a stunning, sparse chilled out masterpiece. Cushty has played on albums with Jimpster, Bah Samba and has performed with Roy Ayres, Massive Attack and Incognito to name a few. Kuniyuki has received widespread acclaim from the like of such as Francois Kevorkian, Larry Heard, Ian Obrien and Joe Claussell.
