Huddersfield's finest hip hop crew Practical Headz comprises of the Bishop, Fingaz, Spida Lee, and the Practical Hand fresh out of the Dalton area. This impressive debut 12' album sampler features 'Reality' with thugged up mid 90s flava co production from the Beat Butcha and backing vocals from a local tramp who popped into the studio to ask for some special brew. Other bangers include 'Get The F**k Out' with some humorous lyrics from Spida Lee about suspicious odours and not being able to get into clubs. On 'Throw Ya Handz Up' the Headz collaborate with Tony Bear on some intense up tempo chopped up production while 'Stop The Diction' witnesses the Bishop rock over a dark synthed up beat. The release is solid, there's bair more goodness coming from them so they're definitely peeps to check for in the future. Practical Headz have played with the likes of Excalibur (Radio 1 xtra), Jehst, Skinnyman and were also Urban Voice finalists playing all over the UK. On the 10th September they play at Chocolate Fireguard label's Timeless Festival event - alongside DJ Vadim's Oneself, Rodney P, LA Cedille, Kava Kava to name a few Reactions coming in fast from a great press and club campaign run by Zzonked. DJ support from Disorda, Daddy G, Mr Thing, Andy Smith, Capoeira Twins, Boca 45, AIM, KidKanevil, Subtub, Mr Morgan, Radio plays Itch FM, Juice 107 .......'
