Simon Says EP

A 4 track house ep (24m 18s) — released February 16th 2009 on Stereotonic Recordings

Simon Resoul has come a long way from humble beginnings as a drummer. Joining a band when he was 17, he soon became influenced by house music and progressed to getting a set of turntables and DJing when he was 20. Artists like Kerri Chandler, Silicone Soul, Nick Holder, Charles Webster, Rithma and Miguel Migs influenced Simon and he soon formed the group Resoul with brother Brian, Dave Hughes and Liam Kelly, becoming residents soon after at Stereotonic in 2002. Over the next few years Simon and Resoul supported DJs like Carl Craig, Charles Webster, Jori Hulkkonen, Ben Watt, Demarkus Lewis and Rithma among others. In winter 2006, branching out on his own, Simon took to the studio to start on his own production work. After over a year of tinkering and finding his feet, he began work on his current project on Stereotonic Recordings, the Simon Says EP, which includes the tracks 'A Safe Place', 'Night Pack', 'Easy company' and a collaboration with Scribble Records artist Kormac on the track 'Entre'. A follow up EP will be released on Stereotonic Recordings later in 09. The Simon Says EP will be released on www.bodytonicmusic.com and download sites in February 2009.
