It all started when former Perfect Toy Records owner Marcus Hacker offered Tobias Kimayer the chance to release a compilation of his favorite rare tunes. After almost two years of intensive research for musicians and label owners, Tobias had secured all the copyrights. This triumph, 'Movements 1' saw the light of the day in 2005. Kirmayer kept on digging for unheard funk and soul treasures and released 'Movements 2' in 2006. Since then, the DJ and label owner of Tramp Records has been hard at work building a strong reputation within the global deep-funk DJ/label scene, releasing new and old music and DJing all over the world. 'Movements 3' no longer focuses on the sound of raw funk only. Kirmayer's goal is to please an open-minded audience with an exciting selection of funk, soul and jazz music. Most of these tunes had been privately released and might have been forgotten if it weren't for aficionados like Kirmayer securing them and bringing them back to life. Nothing more needs to be said about 'Movements 3', as we will now let the long-silenced music speak for itself. Now is your chance to get your hands on this incredible collection of tunes.
