This compilation album is here to give you an impression of our work and showcases the idea behind the label. Dive in and experience the sounds we love, you'll find anything from original 60s/70s rare grooves as well as new recordings in the field of afro beat, latin-jazz and funk. We look forward to many more years in the music business, releasing future recordings by such wonderful artists as Lucky Brown, The Qualitons, the JariBu Afrobeat Arkestra, the Eminent Stars and many more. We will also continue our mission to unearth almost forgotton soul, funk and jazz from the 1960s and 70s as we feel obliged to keep on paying respect to all the original musicians. Without them Tramp would surely not exist. Now it's time to sit back and relax, we deeply hope you enjoy the "The sound of Tramp Records".
