Wah Wah 45s are proud to present 12-inch release number six: the debut solo outing from one of the UK's most hotly tipped producers: the young, good looking and stupidly talented Master Aaron Jerome. Aaron's name has been on the lips of many of the UK's taste makers and music producers for some time now. His remix work for the likes of Zap Mama, Chunking, Nitin Sawhney, and recently for R2 records, as well as our very own imprint, has seen majors sniffing around and every label and their dog wanting a piece of the Jerome pie. On his first ever solo release Aaron pays tribute to one of his own inspirations, the awesomely talented dj/producer Mark Pritchard aka Trouble Man. Pritchard's work for Far Out recordings, as well as his history as one half of the legendary Jedi knights (with one Tom Middleton) and in his cinematic hip hop guise as Harmonic 33, has made him one of Aaron's greatest influences. 'Man Troubles' shares the same kind of intense drum patterns and synth lines as much of the Trouble Man's work, but with Aaron's very own unique touch. A hypnotic vocal hook, soulful keys and a relentless beat make this a sure fire club monster. On the flip, Aaron takes things a thousand leagues deeper with a scuba styled house number complete with jazz brushes, finger snaps and subterranean squelchy synths, making for a more profound dance floor experience. Already played by Gilles Peterson on Radio 1, and big tunes for Benji B, Kev Beadle, Mad Mats, the Bugz, Co-Op and CD-R crews. Wah Wah 45s...all the right records, not necessarily in the right order. Coming soon: Easylifenatural, Nostalgia 77 and Max Cole.'
