Garden of Dance

A 2 track pop single (8m 49s) — released July 31st 2006 on Wah Wah 45s

The mighty Talc are back! Having twisted everyone's melons in 2005 with their debut single, 'Modern Sleepover' (a favourite of DJ Spinna, Rob Da Bank, Jazzanova and Nick Luscombe) our blue-eyed soul boys return with a club friendly maxi-disco 12! 'Garden Of Dance' sees this pair of wannabe Alan Titchmarshes deliver a boogie-tinged monster for the summer. The inevitable soundtrack to a million burnt sausages continues the successful combination of hilarious lyrics and Beach Boy harmonies, whilst still maintaining a uniquely British feel. On the flip, Talc present their alter ego. The wonderfully monikered Man/Boy featuring Girl sees the gents (complete with lady of course) let loose with some rather special disco/house music. Think Herbie Hancock meets Tortured Soul and you get the idea. The vocoders are back in the mix, and the beats are tougher than ever. 'It's Only Perfect' is already being hailed by Future World Funk's Russ Jones as 'One of the best house tunes in ages!''
