Alignment (feat. Stac)

A 5 track balearic / downtempo single (26m 9s) — released September 24th 2012 on Wah Wah 45s

It's been a huge twelve months for Wah Wah 45s head honcho, producer, singer, song-writer and DJ Adam Scrimshire. Having seen his second album, 'The Hollow', receive the Album of the Week plaudit by Gilles Peterson on BBC6Music, he then went on to tour the UK, support The Herbaliser and Jazzanova at Koko in London, and play both Lovebox and Soundwave Croatia festivals.

As he goes about putting the finishing touches to his third LP, due in 2013, Scrimshire has had just about enough time to spoil us with one final single taken from his highly praised second album. "Alignment" features the sublime vocals of label mate Stac and is available here in four unique versions. The radio edit gets straight to the point of this sublime piece of song-writing; Tru Thoughts recording artist Anchorsong delivers a fuzzy electro-funk take that should do some serious dance floor damage; and no stranger to a disco doghnut himself, Claws For? selects only the tastiest morsels of Stac's vocals and chops them up, creating a dishy four-to-the-floor concoction; plus we've seen fit to throw in the a cappella too for all you budding producers out there to get busy with (you know where to send those remixes!); and as an added bonus, Scrimshire has recorded a very special live version of seminal early recording "When The World Was Young" merging into Huey Morgan favourite "Ascension".
