Deniz's second full-length album is a true reflection of the complexity and simplicity that have come to represent the artist. Effortlessly weaving entirely new sub-genres, while daring to convey its fragility she assembles the Marcy All-Stars, a loose collective term that encompasses her longtime muses, friends, and co-conspirers. The term comes from the Marcy hotel in Williamsburg, New York – an underground nightclub-come-creative-space and Wolf + Lamb label studios that gave Nicolas Jaar his first gig, inspired a multitude of collaborations and reshaped the sound of house music as we know it.
