Remember

A 4 track house ep (23m 44s) — released September 10th 2007 on Yoruba Records

Yoruba Records continues with the heat and is proud to present their latest artist, the talented Teresa Jenee’. Teresa’s first offering for Yoruba is the lovely “Rememberâ€. Osunlade beautifully captures the pain and courage faced by Teresa on the original mix. In true Yoruba style, this percussion heavy midtempo song compliments perfectly to Teresa’s thoughts and fears. Nomumbah member Ale Reis has been making quiet an impact with his fellow members and their critically acclaim debut on Yoruba Records. Here he comes on the solo tip for the first of three remixes in this package. For his remix, Ale brings out the Tech to create a darker palette for the song, creating it a must for some cloudy day dancing. On the flip side, Osunlade comes in once again with his Yoruba Soul Mix, bringing a more of a dance flavor to “Rememberâ€. Incorporating some nice discoish guitar work, some touches of tech, and the usual dope Osunlade drums, and you have a recipe for another Osunlade banger for the discerning dancefloor worldwide. We end things off with a remix of one of the hottest producers in contemporary house music, Karizma. With his KaytroniK Dub, the K man continues his streak creating a deep vibe using only Teresa’s voice as texture and color in his world. This one will be big for the afterhours and private moments.
