One of the highlights of the forthcoming album, 'Trouser Jazz', this hot little 7' is set to burn it's way onto your decks and leave it's mark for time ' The A-side, 'Beyond', kicks off with a Northern Soul style pounding beat, rolling bassline, wah-wah stabs and a gorgeous soulful vocal from Homelife's Seaming To (who also shone on Herbaliser's 'Something Wicked'). A class piece of funk that'll warm the cockles of your heart and leave your feet smouldering too. On the flip, and another nugget from the soon-come album, 'Champion Nibble' is a joyous Afro-rock flavoured party jam with a wicked break, too-damn funky bass, dusty sax solo and gorgeous electric keys throughout. An authentic throwback to the future, Scruff style.'
