Concurrent with working on the Maghreban and Strange U projects, Doctor Zygote decided to fling out some new and old tracks on a limited vinyl EP on his own Zoot imprint. With hip hop firmly as a starting point, Z explores different moods within the 6 instrumentals. One side of the EP is dark, the other more jovial. Foregoing cover art, Z hijacked old easy listening record sleeves with spray paint to make each one individual, and also as a nod to all those (largely unremarkable) records that people wade through in order to get to the good ones.
