Pronounced Swing Grow'ers

A 12 track big beat album (51m 53s) — released February 25th 2013 on Freshly Squeezed

"Pronounced Swing-Growers" is the first album release from Swingrowers after signing with Freshly Squeezed Music. This album has been hotly anticipated on the electro-swing scene for a while and it has delivered a new and invigerating lift to the genre. It's big, playful, full of life and impossible to sit still through. The flare of live instruments and the binary strut of computer editing works better than ever before in this astounding piece of work from the gifted Italian duo.

Swingrowers take their name and inspiration from the farming tradition of their local villages where cultivating plants in the arid countryside is a much-prized art, taking time and skill. They aim to take vintage swing and with respect and nurture, breathe new life into an old tradition. Roberto Costa a.k.a. "Pisk" and Loredana Grimaudo, melt perfectly together past musical experienced which become fertiliser for the "Swing-Growers". The idea of electro-swing sound came after discovering new sounds, the likes of Caravan Palace from France

"These guys are complete naturals and a very exciting find for us." said label boss Nick Hollywood. "For me they were a complete stand-out in the world of electro swing, coming out of nowhere with a very polished sound. We are very pleased to have signed them."

The Swingrowers supported electro swing giants Caravan Palace on their London & Brighton legs of their tour and it became instantly apparent that Swingrowers are not just a passing fad. They're talented, full of ideas and crazy about their signature 'Swingrowers' stickers! They are here to stay so don't miss out on your chance to buy your very own piece of electro swing history.
